Tickets for the film evening and award evenings on the 12th and 13th of november are becoming hard to get !
For the projection evening of all films & photos in competition on the 12th of november tickets are now only possibly available through the main sponsors of this evening.

HUGYCUP 2010 - Latest news 25th April 2010

Another 2 months towards the HUGYCUP but preparation is in full progress !
There are not many spaces left anymore !
Participants in this year's edition so far come from Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Switserland. Probably also some Indonesian, Canadian & German joining the compeitition !

Marine Biologist Anne-Lise Roblin-Brieu will be in July at the HUGYCUP conducting workshops on marine biology !

During the whole event regularly one of the sponsors of the HUGYCUP 'Beyond Scuba - Bali' will offer free dive trials with Voyager Rebreathers !!

HUGYCUP 2010 - Latest news 28th February 2010

The HUGYCUP competition is slowly filling up ! Some reknown photographers already join the competition !
Bali is one of the top destinations in Indonesia ! Scuba Seraya resort is well located and the homereef is world famous for it's harlequin shrimps which are always there !! Nearby Tulamben is called the world centre for nudibranchs !! The Liberty wreck is also world famous ! A tornado of big eye trevally is never far away. Bumphead parrotfish come to sleep in the wreck every night ! Between the drop off and the wreck is a nice reef. Paradise reef is always home to several ribbon eels, leaffish &n ornate ghostpipefish. The deeper sandy area is a paradise for nudilovers !!

The results are out and you can see the winning pictures on this website !
The jury had a tough job as many fantastic photos were sent in !
The first HUGYCUP competition was a great succes and many people came to see all photos and videos in competition on the 4th of december when every participant's work was projecteted ! On the 5th of december the Awards of the first HUGYCUP were handed over to the winners during the HUGYCUP award ceremony evening in the presence of Michel Tavernier (foundation of the world festival of underwater images) and Tom Leys ( Green Force & Hugyfot )

We're on our way already towards the 2nd Hugycup which will be held in Bali from the 21st of june till the 14th of august !

De resultaten zijn bekend en de winnende fotos van de allereerste HUGYCUP zijn op deze website te bewonderen. Het was een zware job voor de jury vanwege de vele fantastische inzendingen.
De 1ste Hugycup was een groot succes en veel mensen waren aanwezig op 4 december tijdens de projectieavond toen alle films en fotos van alle deelnemers in competitie werden vertoond. Op 5 december werden de eerste HUGYCUP trofeeën uitgereikt en dit in aanwezigheid van Michel Tavernier (Foundation of the world festival of underwater images) en Tom leys (Green Force & Hugyfot )
